Day 18 - 25/7/26
Jarndunmunha first thing. Glorious ascent. Resupply day after the climb today. There’s a decent sized Coles here.
Dropped in to the local tyre place and unbelievably they had the correct brand and size tyre available. Can’t do till Monday but hey that’s remote travel. Pretty lucky really. Generally people have to wait for delivery from Perth. Took the opportunity to zip out to Hamersley Gorge for a wander and a few pics.
Camped near Punurrunha to climb in the morning. Met Jason and Maxi who are on their way around Oz. Had a great chat. Jason washed his car in the Pilbara! That is the epitome of optimism.
